Exhibition

Throughout the European Heritage Days weekend, reenactors will periodically hold workshops and educational demonstrations related to the American paratroopers of the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions who arrived by air on June 6, 1944.
As every year, European Heritage Days will see many cultural institutions in France and Europe organizing special events on the weekend of September 20 and 21. For the occasion, the Airborne Museum is calling on a group of specialized reenactors, Enfer Normand, who will be on hand throughout the weekend to give demonstrations and workshops. The reenactors will be dressed in the colors of the American paratroopers of the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions and will reenact some of the activities that visitors can enjoy at Camp Geronimo and outside its walls during the annual June 6 commemorations in Sainte-Mère-Eglise.
- Presentation of parachute equipment, pathfinder equipment, and medical equipment used by US airborne divisions
- Demonstrations with commentary
NB: These events will take place all day Saturday and Sunday morning. Weather permitting, activities will take place in the museum grounds. Otherwise, they will be held in the Neptune Pavilion lobby and in the WACO Pavilion.
- Access to activities included in the museum admission price
- Museum opening hours during the weekend: 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
