Family fares

As the Airborne Museum is a museum dedicated to the Second World War, and more specifically to the events of the Normandy Landings, it’s natural for parents to wonder whether visiting with their children is a good idea. The museum team has taken care to adapt its features so that even children can enjoy them without the risk of exposure to graphic, traumatic or inappropriate elements.

Our Histopad, a digital augmented reality device available to all, is a great success, especially with children. What’s more, the museum’s itinerary combines spectacular scenes with interactive screens, and is dotted with small immersive and educational devices such as the parachute jump simulator in pavilion C47.

There’s also a dedicated children’s trail, with specially adapted labels.

What’s more, the majestic vehicles and, more generally, the museum’s very rich collection are sure to fascinate and amaze young and old alike. It’s the perfect family visit when you cross the museum’s threshold.

To benefit from this rate, a minimum of 2 adults and 2 paying children is required.

  • Between February 10 and May 8, 2024: €24 / €4 per additional child.
  • From May 8, 2024: €33 / €5.50 per additional child.

Note: Visitors are asked not to attempt to book their admission tickets one hour or less before coming to the museum. In this case, the ticketing software does not allow for the desired time slot.

Note 2: Our online ticketing service asks you to specify the time of your visit, but this is mainly a formality. In fact, if it turns out that for one reason or another you’ll be ahead of, or behind, the time indicated at the time of booking, don’t worry. You can come at any time during the day, regardless of the time you’ve specified.
