The Airborne Museum being a World War II museum, particularly tackling the events of the Normandy D-Day, as parent, it is natural to wonder if it is appropriate for children. The museum’s team took a great care in accomodating its settings as to allow children to enjoy the museum safely.
The digital augmented reality device available to all at the museum, our Histopad, has had a great success with children. Moreover, spectacular scenes and interactive screens intertwine during the visit, and there are several immersive and pedagogical devices such as the parachute jump simulator scattered throughout the museum.
The majestic vehicles and the overall rich collection are also sure to fascinate children and adults alike, thus making a visit to the museum the perfect family trip.
