The Army Good Conduct Medal was established on 28 June 1941 during the Second World War. It is a good conduct medal awarded exclusively to enlisted men and non-commissioned officers.
To be awarded the medal, a soldier must demonstrate one year of exemplary service in wartime or three consecutive years in peacetime.
It is possible to accumulate multiple medals. There are three colours: bronze (2 to 5), silver (6 to 10) and gold (11 to 15).
